Preschools provide morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack for children. They also provide beverages, usually water and sweetened tea.
Parents pay for meal expenses monthly by bank transfer.
Weekly (or monthly) menu is usually displayed on the school notice board, online or is available upon request. There is usually only one dish to choose so parents do not have to select anything in advance.
In some preschools it is possible to arrange for some adjustments based on religious belief and dietary restrictions. It always depends on communication and the school’s resources. It is necessary to inform the teacher about any dietary restrictions and food allergies when the child starts attending the preschool. In some cases parents can be asked for a medical certificate of dietary restrictions.
