Support measures for students with other mother tongues

  • Students with other mother tongues may be eligible for various support measures. While some of them are entirely within the scope of the school’s responsibility (pedagogical support plan), others are only possible once the student’s situation has been assessed by a psychological counselling center.
  • Students with insufficient knowledge of Czech may be eligible for in-class support measures (adjustments to teaching methods and assessments, use of educational tools). Based on the recommendation from a psychological counselling center, students may also be entitled to follow an individual study plan, receive special educational support or assistance from a teaching assistant, use special tools or materials, or extend the 1st year of studies by one year.
