Write us a message!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Adjustments to admission procedure<\/h3>\n<p>Applicants who attended school (9 years of compulsory education) outside of the Czech Republic are entitled to submit a request to be excused from sitting the written unified entrance exam (JPZ) in Czech language and literature. In such cases, schools verify applicants\u2019 proficiency in the Czech language in an interview.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants who attended a Czech elementary school for 2 years or less over the past 4 years may also submit a request to replace the unified entrance exam in Czech language and literature with an interview. This also applies to persons covered by temporary protection with special long-term residence.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants covered by temporary protection or with special long-term residence who attended a Czech elementary school for more than 2 years may request additional time (25%) and a bilingual dictionary during the unified entrance exam without the need to present a recommendation from a school counseling center. These applicants are not eligible to replace the unified entrance exam in Czech language and literature with an interview.<\/p>\n<p>Other applicants, including those with special educational needs, are eligible for further admission procedure adjustments if they attach a written recommendation issued by a school counseling center to their application. This may include additional time granted for the written exam (possibly more than 25%) and\/or permission to use compensatory aids (e.g., bilingual dictionary). These can also be used in the school part of the entrance exam if applicable.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Attention<\/strong><\/span><strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Upon submitting a request to be excused from sitting the unified entrance exam in Czech language, an applicant will receive a separate invitation to interview from each school which agreed to excuse them from the exam.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Applications<\/h3>\n<p>There are two ways to apply. <strong>We recommend using an electronic application form.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Submitting an electronic application via the<\/strong> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dipsy.gov.cz\/prihlaska\/intro\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DiPSy<\/a> system<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>log in using your electronic citizen&#8217;s identity \u2013 Bank identity or e-Government Mobile Key<\/li>\n<li>complete an application form and attach scanned documents<\/li>\n<li>application acknowledgement will be sent to your e-mail<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Submitting a paper application:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>submit a completed and signed <a href=\"https:\/\/doskolyspolecne.cz\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/Prihlaska_2025-2026-3.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">form<\/a>, including all the attachments, to each high school. We recommend sending the documents by registered mail.<\/li>\n<li>study fields must be ordered according to the priority assigned by the applicant, the order must be identical in all the applications<\/li>\n<li>each application must include copies of all the required attachments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>An application may contain <strong>up to 3 schools without talent exams<\/strong> and <strong>additionally up to 2 schools with talent exams<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The list of schools in an application must be ordered according to the priority assigned by the applicant, the first school on the list being the most preferred one. An applicant can only be admitted to one school, even if they met the admission criteria of multiple schools. Once an application is submitted, the priority order cannot be changed. It is possible to withdraw a submitted application and submit a new one via the online system until February 20.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>1st round dates<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Application submission<\/strong> \u2014 February 1 to 20, 2026<\/li>\n<li><strong>Unified entrance exam<\/strong> for 4-year programs \u2013 April 10 and 13, 2026 (multi-year programs \u2013 April 14 and 15)\n<ul>\n<li>Invitations to the unified entrance exam and the school part of the exam are delivered via the DiPSy system and e-mail.
